本研究では、申請者らが独自開発したガリウム錯体において見出されたラジカル生成過程、すなわち「可視光照射による炭素―ガリウム結合均一開裂反応」を鍵とした典型元素レドックス触媒の開発を行う。得られた知見をもとに更なる高難易度反応へと展開し、有機合成化学的手法へと昇華する。
