Outline of Research at the Start

減数第一分裂前期と呼ばれる時期は、細胞周期のG2期に相当する。そのタイムスパンは通常のG2期と比べて際だって長いことが特徴で、この時期に減数分裂仕様に染色体の再構築が起きるように特化されている。本研究では、細胞周期のG2期を減数分裂仕様に特殊化する仕組みの解明を目的とする。体細胞分裂のG2期と減数第一分裂前期との本質的な違いを生み出すメカニズムの解明を目指す。
