Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では、工学系で広く利用されているフーリエ変換(FFT)に比べ、10万~100億倍以上の精度の向上が見込まれるNHA(Non Harmonic Analysis: 申請者が考案した非周期信号のフーリエ変換式への最小二乗法の適用に基づく周波数分析法)を用いて、重力波検出・解析システムに関して、総合的なセンシング能力や情報解析技術の飛躍的向上に資する重力波信号解析技術の開発を行った。特に、センシング・ハードウェアの限界を極限まで向上させる時間―周波数解析技術、リアルタイム解析技術、ノイズ源分離と重力波の微細な周波数変化を追従するための解析技術の開発を行った。
