Outline of Annual Research Achievements

当該年度の初期目標として、アルキンーアレニルシクロアルカンを活用したロジウム触媒による新規環化付加反応の開発を試みた。目的の結果を得ることはできなかったものの、関連領域にて以下の3つの新規活性化法の開発に成功した。
1) ベンジルアレン-アルキンを用いた新規C-H活性化法の開発：ロジウム触媒をベンジルアレン-アルキンと処理したところ、ベンゼン環上のC-H結合の活性化を伴った環化異性化反応が進行し、6-7-6員環の三環性化合物が一挙に得られることを見出した。
2) アレン-エン-イン体の[2+2+2]環化付加反応：ロジウム触媒をアレン-エン-イン体と処理したところ、分子内[2+2+2]環化付加反応が進行し、剛直なシクロプロパン環を有する三環性及び四環性化合物が得られた。本法では、想定されるローダビシクロ中間体が、通常は環化が困難と思われる近接二重結合との反応を可能にしていると思われ、重なりが不十分なπ成分を活性化することができたと考えている。
3) アレン-アレニルシクロプロパン体の[5+2-2]環化付加反応：ロジウム触媒をアレン-アレニルシクロプロパン体と処理したところ、シクロプロパン上のC-C結合の活性化を伴った[5+2-2]環化付加反応が進行し、5-7員環の二環性化合物が生成した。本法では、反応途中でシクロプロパン上の2C成分がエチレンとして脱離する興味深い反応であり、従来にない形式の反応を開発するに至った。
