Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では、膜輸送体のための新しい計測技術を自主開発し、膜輸送体であるF型ATP合成酵素の構造変化ならびに機能であるイオン輸送の1分子計測を世界に先駆けて達成した。この技術は、膜輸送体だけでなく、生体膜上に存在する様々な膜タンパク質の計測に応用できる可能性があり、今後の膜タンパク質研究において大きく貢献することが強く期待される。
