【1. RGBカメラを用いた材質識別システムの構築】前年度までに構築したシステムは、4枚の偏光画像を複数波長に対して取得する必要があったため、計測時間を要する問題点があった。本年度は、RGBカメラを利用して計測時間削減を行う予定であったが、ワンショットで４枚の偏光画像を計測することが可能なカメラを入手したため、計画を変更し、偏光画像計測を簡易化することによって、計測処理の削減を図った。【2. 蛍光感知覚の解析とレンダリングへの応用】心理物理実験を行うことにより、モニタ再現の低下の原因として、刺激の周囲環境の質感が影響していることを発見した。また、蛍光発光現象の空間的な広がりを計測する方法を考案し、レンダリングへの応用を行った。【3. 質感ハーモニーの解析】30枚の実サンプルとモニタ再現画像を用いて、質感調和に関する心理物理実験を行った。質感調和は、材質カテゴリを超えて生じうることがわかり、刺激を動かすことによる光反射の時間的変化が、調和に強く影響していることも見出した。【4. 質感画像検索】オノマトペを特徴空間とした類似画像検索システムの構築を継続した。特に、材質に対して複数のオノマトペがラベリングされる場合の処理方法を検討した。【5. 質感画像処理】モバイル端末で獲得したファブリック画像とデザイン画像を用いて、質感の制御とデザイン画像の転写を行うアルゴリズムを構築し、実装した。心理物理実験によって、その有効性を検証した。
