Outline of Research at the Start	慢性疼痛の患者のなかには合併症として不安や抑うつなどの気分障害や認知・情動機能障害に起因した意欲や注意力の低下をきたす例が多いことが報告されている。その病態の解明と予防・治療方法の開発につなげるため、本研究では、慢性疼痛に起因する動機付け行動変容モデルマウス、情動発現に深く関連した神経回路の活動記録および光遺伝学を用いた操作技術、数理解析および人工知能（AI）を用いた動作・行動解析技術を組み合わせて、行動変容の鍵となる変化を効率的に抽出し、慢性疼痛における神経回路の機能異常の実態を明らかにすることを目指す。
