Outline of Research at the Start

これまでの予備的知見より、申請者はT細胞抗原応答やTh17/Tregバランスにおける環境脂質需要に関する知見を見出しており、これらのT細胞応答には脂質の選択性があることを報告している。そのため、脂質異常を基盤とした肥満病態では特異なT細胞クローン増殖を起こしやすい脂質環境が作り出され、Th17バイアスの根源となっているのではないかと想定している。本研究では、肥満における抗原応答の閾値や抗原提示細胞の特性、およびTh17/Tregの可塑性にについて、脂質環境という新たな視点から取り組むことで、T細胞が認識する肥満特有の自己指向性免疫の解明を目指す。
