Outline of Research at the Start	ヒトの生活史において青年期は重要なステージである。青年期にヒトは血縁を超えた社会ネットワークを拡張して、大人になるために必要な社会的学習を行う。ヒト同様に長い未成熟期間を持つオランウータンを対象としてフィールド調査を行い、未成熟期に起こる社会的発達プロセスについて明らかにすることで、ヒト科における青年期の進化史的基盤と「ヒトらしさ」が創出されるプロセスを解明することを目指す。
