Outline of Research at the Start	金属や典型元素が複数集積したものは、クラスターと呼称され、孤立原子・分子とも元素単体とも異なる新たな物質群として注目されている。しかし、狙ったサイズ・形状のクラスターを精密に合成し、それらの性質を系統的に解明するまでには至っていない。開発した手法を活用して設計可能なクラスター創出手法を確立するとともに、近年注目される半導体の微小領域における骨格変換挙動の理解につなげる。
