Outline of Research at the Start	芳香環は多数の生理活性物質や機能性材料に含まれるため，芳香環主構造の骨格変換による類縁体合成は新規有用物質の創製を大きく加速するポテンシャルを秘めている。しかし脱芳香族化には大きなエネルギーが必要なことから，このアプローチによる合成化学研究は大きく立ち後れてきた。本研究では申請者が有する独自触媒技術の活用により高反応性活性種を精密に制御し，汎用官能基の一つであるフェノールを起点とした芳香環の骨格変換反応の開発を目指す。
