Outline of Annual Research Achievements

近年の計測技術の進歩により、様々な大自由度システムから多量のデータが得られているが、データの背後にあるシステムは、非自明な非線形ダイナミクスを有することが多く、力学系の観点を取り入れた解析手法が望まれる。大自由度非線形システムの本質を理解するには、システムの枝葉を無視し、少数自由度の本質的部分に絞った解析が有効だと考えられる。特に、解析対象のシステムが比較的低次元のアトラクタを有するならば、少数のスパースなモードが、システムの振る舞いにおいて支配的な役割を持つものと考えられる。本研究では、非線形力学系の縮約理論の観点より、計測データからスパースな支配的モードを抽出して大自由度非線形システムをモデリングする新しい手法を提案することを目的としている。昨年度に引き続き、今年度は、大自由度システムの情報を縮約してスパースな表現を得るために、Koopmanモード分解を用いた手法に着目した。特に、時系列データから観測量の時間発展を表すKoopman作用素を推定する手法として、流体分野を中心に発展しているDynamic Mode Decomposition(DMD)について、カーネル法を用いた拡張を試みた。これにより、従来手法によるDMDに比べ、Koopman作用素の固有値および固有関数の推定精度が向上することを確認した。さらに、カーネル法を適用するにあたり、カーネルの幅を表すパラメータを適切に決めることが重要となるが、そのアルゴリズムを提案した。また、関連する研究として、振動的な流体現象を数値計算する格子Boltzmann法に対する低次元の位相方程式の導出法の提案や、対称性を有する結合振動子ネットワークにおける集団同期解の安定性の解析などを行った。得られた結果は論文誌、国際会議、研究会等にて公表した。
