Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的は、「意思決定における中心的変数である価値の形成と統合の脳機能の解明」である。より具体的には、価値予測を形成する脳内入力の表現学習（目的I）と社会的立場での複数の価値統合による行動選択（目的II）における脳機能の解明である。本年は、主に目的IIで、目的達成に向け、数理モデル提案と実験検証を合わせて行うことに留意し、研究を進めた。具体的には、価値意思決定の脳計算モデルを以下に記述する社会的意思決定の脳計算モデルに拡張し、それを用いてヒトfMRI実験での行動データと脳活動データに、モデル化解析を適用することで研究を行った。本年ではかなりの追加実験のデータ取得を行った。社会的意思決定を題材に、異なる起因で生成された複数の価値が統合されることで行動選択にいたるまでの脳の情報処理過程を検討した。具体的な実験課題としては、従来想定の価値意思決定試行に加え、他者への報酬に起因する価値付加試行を用意し、そこでの価値意思決定を用いた。さらにコントロール課題として、他者報酬に該当する使い報酬が自己の報酬である場合の価値付加試行も用いた。追加実験のデータを含めたモデル化解析によって、他者報酬に関わる脳活動が、脳内の意思決定の共通通貨である「価値」に関わる脳活動へ変換される脳内情報処理が明らかになってきた。そのプロセスとしては、「他者報酬固有の脳活動」→「自己報酬と他者報酬を共通に表現する脳活動」→「最終的な意思決定に関わる脳活動」が分かってきている。これらの成果を知らしめるために、学会などに積極的に発表を行ったところ、高い評価を得た。学術論文の投稿準備をかなりの程度進めることができた。
