Outline of Annual Research Achievements

マトリョーシカ型進化に関するアウトリーチ活動のフォローアップとして、双方向交流型サイエンスカフェ「マトリョーシカフェ」の継続実施を札幌および横浜にてそれぞれ2回ずつ合計4回行った。それぞれほぼ定員の参加者を迎え、好評のうちに「マトリョーシカ型進化原理」の研究成果の一般向けアウトリーチを実施することができた。共生・寄生・生物間相互作用に関する研究を一般向けに紹介・解説する書籍の出版を目的とし、研究現場を訪ね研究者に研究の現状に関する取材を行った。取材した研究先は、北海道・東北・関東・中部・近畿・東海・中国地方の20名以上にわたり、一般向け書籍の準備に関して、全研究者が好意的かつ協力的であった。現在、これらの取材内容の文書化を行っている。また、平成28年度内に日程や研究サンプルの調整がつかなかった研究先からも、次年度以降で取材協力の内諾を受けていることから、これらを併せて文書化し、一般向け書籍として出版する予定である。また、領域のコンセプトの定着を目的として、 蛋白研にて“真核細胞のオルガネラ研究最前線”セミナーを 2017年3月21日～3月22日、大阪大学蛋白質研究所で開催した。以上の活動は、社会への研究成果還元のために継続させることが重要であると考えられた。
