Outline of Final Research Achievements

Reaction integration, which sustains the synthesis of middle-molecules, is rapidly developing in both academia and industry as a key technology supporting a new era of synthetic processes in the industrial manufacture of pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals. In this research field, we aim to advance "reaction integration" to a higher level to dramatically improve the efficiency of functional molecule synthesis, and furthermore, to expand it to the practical material production. This International Support Group aims to promote international collaboration and the formation of research networks, to help our research area become an international hub for the creation of middle-molecular functions, and to demonstrate the significant presence of our research area and Japan, in the international community.
