| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
当該年度の前年度までに当初計画の国際連携ＷＧを拡充し、新たに設置する運営委員会の下、主に4つの新たな国際活動拠点群を形成し、国際活動支援を実施した。これに基づき、国際連携多元計算解剖学の国際ネットワークを構築し、国際水準の若手育成と一流論文誌での国際共著論文発表を促進した。また、当該年度の前年度中に国際連携運営委員会を開催し、研究テーマの基本方針を決定しており、これに基づき研究計画を推進した。本運営委員会は、海外の連携拠点の主要研究者もメンバーに加わえ定期的に開催した。具体的には、拠点１-Aの形成のために名古屋工業大学情報工学科教授本谷秀堅と東京農工大学大学院工学研究院教授清水昭伸、奈良先端大学教授佐藤嘉伸、山口大学創成科学研究科教授木戸尚治などをアメリカ・ハーバード大学国立小児医療センターあるいはイリノイ工科大学等に派遣して医用画像に関する基礎数理チームとの連携計画を立ち上げ、キックオフミーティングを開催した。また、拠点１-B,1-Cの形成のために九州大学講師Bano Jordanや名古屋大学の中村彰太をフランスMediCIS、IRCADやオーストリアのウィーン医科大学に派遣しそれぞれのデータ、ソフトの共有をすすめ、共同研究をすすめた。また、企画案に従い、各担当者は、連携機関と遠隔会議システムも利用しながら、議論を進めて具体的な共同研究テーマを設定した。各テーマの日本側担当者と海外連携機関側の研究者が立案した研究計画に基づき研究を遂行した。また、トップレベルの国際会議において本領域名を冠するオーガナイズドセッションを企画した。

総括班内にあらたに立ち上げた国際活動支援班として各国研究機関との連携や国際学会におけるセッション開催等、国内外連携活動を支援してきている。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
今後も国際活動支援班の活動を積極的にすすめていく。また、若手を中心とした海外派遣もより一層推進し、引き続き人材育成を十分に考慮した活動を展開していく。これにより領域全体のプロジェクトをさらに推進していく。

| Causes of Carryover |
当該年度は、国際活動支援班に設置された各委員会の会議を頻繁に行ったが、ほとんどの会議をTV会議併用でおこなったため、旅費による支出を削減することができた。

| Expenditure Plan for Carryover Budget |
次年度は、海外共同研究において旅費および一部研究費も支援することとし、多くの海外プロジェクトの応募があったため、繰越金を用いてこれらのプロジェクトへの支援をより厚く行っていくこととしている。
