Outline of Annual Research Achievements

最終年度を迎え、2015年12月から導入された本基金により開始した国際共同研究のまとめと論文化に向けた話合い、若手の活発な研究交流が行われた。
A01（共感性の比較認知）系統発生班では、近縁種間の比較研究を推進するために、パリ大学、ストラスブール大学、ビーレフェルト大学、マーデブルグ大学等と連携し、PIの出張ベースでの研究推進に加え、若手研究者の交流を図った。個体発生班では、社会心理と神経科学の融合研究拠点の構築を目指し、ロンドン、オクスフォード、リンカーン、アルバータ、タンペレ大学と連携し、霊長類およびヒト（TD児とASD児の比較研究など）における共感研究の推進を図った。B01（進化モデル）班では、エジンバラ大学との共同研究を継続しつつ、ガーナ大学とも連携し新たな国際共同研究（げっ歯類の家畜化に関する共感遺伝子解析）に着手した。公募班の小出准教授（遺伝研）とも連携し成果をあげている。C01（分子・回路基盤）班では、採択直後に着手したシカゴ大学との共同研究（げっ歯類における情動伝染や助け行動を誘発する社会因子の同定）の成果を論文化する作業が進んでいる。また共感性に深く関わるオキシトシンの神経採用メカニズムを明らかにするための国際共同研究（ニューヨーク大学）も論文化に向けて追加データの取得等が進んでいる。特筆すべきは、麻布大学菊水研より長期派遣でニューヨーク大学で研究を進めていた研究員が、本年4月より、ニューヨーク大学の研究員として採用されたことである。日本の若手研究者にとって、海外での研究の活路を開拓できたことが喜ばしい。C01で途中参画した駒井班の顕微鏡開発は、組立てが終わり、近日中に擬似脳を用いて3次元イメージングの可能性について検討を行う。
本基金導入以降、領域の業績として発表された国際共著は40報以上あり、2年4ヶ月という短い期間に期待以上の成果があげられたと考える。
