Outline of Annual Research Achievements

近い将来の経済活動の主な担い手である青少年の活力・意欲の向上、「意志力」の回復は、日本の国力の維持・増進に必須である。本領域は、上記のような社会問題の根底にも繋がる「やる気・モチベーション」などの分子・神経基盤と、その障害による現代人の心的病態を、①神経科学的理解②教育・社会・運動などの生育環境理解、内分泌系や腸内細菌叢などの体内環境理解により多元的に紐解き④得られた知見の社会還元により、特に青少年のやる気・モチベーションを向上することを目標とする。H28年9月26日にはキックオフシンポジウム及び公募説明会を開催した。本領域では神経科学・精神医学・画像診断医学・教育心理学・スポーツ科学などの研究者が分野横断的に恊働し、成果の橋渡しをねらう。総括班では、こうした学際的な活動をサポートするため、各種実務委員会を設置し、適所に人材を配置することで、領域運営の効率化を考慮した。つまり、戦略マネジメント委員会（領域運営に関する企画・立案・調整を行う領域の意思決定機関であり、計画研究・公募研究の統括、計画研究間並びに計画研究・公募研究間の連携推進、総括班会議・研究報告集会・シンポジウムの主催などに当たる）の他、次世代研究者育成委員会、意欲臨床知見統合委員会、術教育支援委員会、橋渡し加速委員会、市民広報委員会を設立し、これまで10月1日-4日に第１回総括班会議、2月10日-12日に第２回総括班会議を行い、委員長及びメンバーを決定、今後の方策を各委員会にて決定した。次年度より公募班が決まることから、支援活動、アウトリーチ活動の計画及びワークショップ開催について協議した。

Reason

昨年は公募研究班決定前の年度であったが、計画研究は各班において順調に進展しており、また総括班においては、各種委員会の設定、２回の総括班会議及び各員会の調整会議を開催した。総括班活動の一環として行われる支援活動の準備も整い、予定通り順調に進展している。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

来年度から公募研究班が領域に参加することになり、キックオフミーティング、全体発表会、第３回総括班会議の開催を予定している。さらに、浜松医科大学メディカルフォトニクスコース：イメージング技術支援コース共催の脳機能画像解析ワークショップ、精神機能を高めるための適切な運動プログラムを用いたアウトリーチ活動としてのワークショップ、マウスの睡眠覚醒状態の解析支援、体内時計解析支援、超解像顕微鏡による組織解析支援、母親研究者に対する支援活動を計画し、実行予定である。
