Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究領域は、光が物質に及ぼす力、すなわち光圧を駆使し、「一つひとつのナノ物質の実在に選別し、非破壊・非接触に操する」ことによって高度な構造や機能を組み上げる「極微質量の人為的力学操作を通した秩序の創生」を目標とする。総括班では、この目標の達成の可視化に向けて設定した次の班間共同研究を強力に推進するための方針策定・企画調整など領域全体の指揮を執っている。
共同研究について、企画提案とまとめ役を担うコーディネーターおよび企画の具体化・計画立案および研究実施を担当する若手キーパーソンを総括班が指名し、領域会議や共同研究会議で議論を重ねた結果、共同研究[A]として「ナノファイバによるNV中心含有ナノダイヤモンドの光圧選別輸送」、「ナノ流路の微細ケージへのナノ粒子光補捉とマクロ配列」、共同研究[B]として「金属ナノ構造による高選択性キラル結晶化とその機構解明」、「微小液滴中のレーザー捕捉結晶成長制御法」、共同研究[C]として「液一液界面での異種粒子同時捕捉・濃縮・配向制御」などの共同研究成果が既に挙がっている。
2019年度分を繰り越した経費を用いて2020年度に行う予定であった欧州での国際シンポジウムはコロナ禍のため開催できなかったが、この年度は若手研究会、領域会議などをオンラインで開催し、領域内での活発な研究交流を計った。

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.

Reason

2020年度はコロナ禍で予定していた欧州での国際シンポジウムなどが出来なかったが、班会議、若手会議、領域会議などを積極的にオンラインで行い、活発な研究交流の促進を図った。このことにより課題となっていた共同研究が順調に進み、多くの研究成果が得られた。このため、総括班としては十分に役割を果たす活動が出来、計画は順調に進展したと判断した。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

2020年度にコロナ禍により中止や延期となった各種会議への領域メンバーの参加、及び国際ワークショップの主催計画などを積極的に進め、若手を中心とした共同研究、国際交流の活性化を図る。また領域内共同研究の一層の促進を図るため、総括班としての可能な支援を行う。
