Outline of Annual Research Achievements

総括班は,それぞれの研究計画の情報共有や共同研究促進のためと,広報のため,主に活動をした.2023年2月と12月に,国立天文台と名古屋大学で本領域の全体会議である「大研究会」を開催し,それぞれ4日間にわたり成果報告と徹底的な議論を行った.これにより各研究計画の情報共有と共同研究の促進が効率的に行われた.また,毎月のオンライン「星・惑星形成ゼミ」も継続して開催した.さらに,2023年11月には「星・惑星形成ゼミ」の対面研究会も開催した.これらの研究会に参加者を招聘するためや,若手研究者を研究会に派遣するために旅費を使用した.また,本領域の広報に使用するWebページのために,サーバ使用料に研究費を利用した.
また,超大型国際会議「Protostars and Planets VII」を2023年4月に計780名の現地参加者を迎えて開催し,星形成及び惑星形成の研究分野に大きく寄与した.また,この国際会議のレビュー講演を行った29のグループに当該テーマのレビュー講演を執筆してもらい,それをまとめた計千頁以上の本を出版した.この本は,今後十年間程度は,当該分野における教科書として利用される予定である.
上記の活動の企画の実行や研究成果の広報のために,研究補佐員を雇用した.研究補佐員による活動,旅行会社によるサポート,サーバ借用,旅費などに経費を使用した.
これらの結果,本新学術領域において,活発な共同研究が促進され,さらに国際的にも超大型国際会議「Protostars and Planets VII」などにより,大きなアピールにつながった.
