| Research Abstract |
In order to promote our team-based grant project (Scientific Research in Priority Areas) on "Protein Community", we set up a management team, the missions of which are to promote and coordinate each project. We had annual meeting to exchange information on the results of each team and had young scientist workshop to foster young scientists as well as graduate students every year. We also backed up several symposia and workshops at various meetings in Japan. In 2010, we had the 3rd International Symposium on Protein Society in Nara, which was reported in Nature Struct. Mol. Biology. For outreach activities, we run our official web site and have published New Letters (8 issues in 5 years), which received highly favorable response.
