Research Abstract

本特定領域研究では、植物メリステムの形成と維持、メリステムの機能転換及びメリステムからの器官形成を支えている制御系を、転写因子、低分子RNA、新奇なペプチド性リガンド分子、クロマチン構造の変換に関わる因子などを基軸として研究する。さらに、これらの過程をより高次な立場から支配している制御系(統御系)を解明し、植物発生の包括的理解をめざす。また、この分野の次世代を担う若手研究者を養成する。本総括班では、以上のような目的を遂行するために、研究方針の策定、研究達成度の評価、班員間の研究連携の推進、班員間の連絡と企画調整、国の内外の研究状況の調査・情報収集、シンポジウム等を行い、特定領域研究を推進する。
