Research Abstract |
This research area aimed at understanding operating principles of the nervous system by using simplified experimental systems. For this purpose we attempted to incorporate a wide range of disciplines such as imaging techniques, mathematical analyses and engineering. By creating an environment to promote such interdisciplinary interactions, new trends and findings were made through new techniques such as molecular imaging, tracking of behaving animals and mathematical analyses of behavior.
