| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
2022年度および繰越分の2023年度の活動の概要は以下の通りである。
【最終成果物の刊行】最終成果物として英語論文集“Pastoral Care and Monasticism in Latin Christianity and Japanese Buddhism (ca. 800-1650)” (LIT Verlag, 2024)と日本語論文集『修道制と中世書物：メディアの比較宗教史に向けて』（八坂書房、2024年）を刊行した。
【国際カンファレンス等の実施】2022年度にワークショップ「ラテン・キリスト教と日本仏教における「もつれた修道制史」を目指して」を開催し、「もつれ（entanglement）」概念を応用して新しい修道制史研究のアプローチの仕方を議論した。また、2023年度にはSteven Vanderputten教授（ベルギー・ヘント大学）とEmilia Jamroziak教授（イギリス・リーズ大学）を招聘して国際カンファレンス“Transcending the Tangibility and Intangibility: Religion and Media in Pre-Modern East and West Eurasia“を開催し、宗教メディアの社会的意義をヨーロッパと日本の比較史的アプローチにより検討した。
【国際学会・ネットワークへの参画】2022年、2023年にInternational Medieval Congressでプロジェクトに基づくセッションを出した。また、領域・研究代表者が構想段階から参画している国際ネットワークGlobal Association for Historical Research of Monasticism (GARMon)が2022年7月に結成された。
【合同研究会】班の垣根を超えた合同研究会を2回実施した。
