Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Hub neurons are believed to be linked to brain function, brain homeostasis, and disease based on their activity patterns. Understanding the causal relationship between these crucial hub neurons and the factors that make them become hub neurons is a challenging and essential task. The aim of this project is to uncover the physio/pathological, gene expression, and morphological characteristics of hub neurons. This group has successfully encouraged researchers both within and outside of this field to participate in symposium and exchange information actively. Consequently, the group has provided an avenue for robust interactions between junior and senior researchers, leading to productive discussions, the initiation of new collaborative research, and the pioneering of the research field related to hub neurons.
