| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本申請課題においては、5年間にわたる研究成果のとりまとめと、研究成果を社会・国民に発信することの２つが目的であった。
第一の目的である研究成果のとりまとめにおいては、計算解剖学の目的、研究組織、計画班および公募班それぞれの研究成果（著書・論文のリスト、特許を含む）と共に、計算解剖学という新たな領域としての状況、計算解剖学主催による学術研究集会およびアウトリーチ活動、諮問委員による研究評価、などを含め、研究成果報告書として取りまとめて印刷・製本した。また、同報告書の内容に研究成果をより理解しやすいように一部の動画をも含めてＣＤも作成した。これらは関係研究機関に配布した。
第二の目的である研究成果の社会・国民への発信に関しては、2つの取り組みを行った。一つは、「3Dプリンタで臓器モデルを作ろう！」と題した中学・高校生向け講座である。これは日本学術振興会主催の「ひらめき☆ときめきサイエンスプログラム」の一つとして2014年8月21、22日の2日間にわたって名古屋大学にて開催したもので、ＣＴ画像から臓器を抽出し、それを３Ｄプリンタで打ち出すまでを体験させた。次代を担う世代に計算解剖学の成果の一端を分かりやすく紹介したものである。二つ目は東京農工大学にて開催した「計算解剖学」最終成果報告シンポジウムである。計算解剖学プロジェクトで新たに開発された基礎から応用（診断・手術支援）までの研究成果を関連分野で活躍する研究者・技術者に対して広く紹介した。また、専門的・学術的な立場から計算解剖学の現状評価と今後の方向性や課題を議論し、次のステップへの礎とした。
