Research Abstract

We intended to make remarkable progresses in understanding of mammalian early development by studying embryos as spatio-temporally continued "cellular community". We played active roles to promote research in the filed by introducing new methods and researchers from other research fields.
During team meetings, we searched for problems and discussed possible solutions of each research, and successfully lead to produce fruits. We summarized information about resources and collected manuals for analysis of early mammalian embryos, and these were published on our web site. We hosted a domestic symposium and an international symposium. We also supported young researchers to organize workshops. We played roles as editors for special review issues in an international journal relating this research filed. We also made activities to help scientific education of young students, and public people.
