Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本新学術領域「動く細胞と場のクロストークによる秩序の生成」は,「動く細胞」が「場」といかに対峙し作用し合って形態的,機能的「秩序」が細胞集団・組織・器官にもたらされるかについて理解を深めることを大目的としてH22年度に発足した.総括班は,多様な分野から参集した研究者間で有機的・相互補完的な連携が進むように活動を行ってきた.期間終了に際して,「世界との競い・交流」,「国内研究・若手への刺激・賦活」,「数理シミュレーション」,「社会・国民への発信」,「次世代型の取り組みとの接点」を主要注目点とし,これまでの活動に関する情報を収集,整理,分析,当領域の来し方を振り返り「新しい学術の生成」の成否を自己点検した.中間評価(「A」判定)で応援を受け,また一層の努力も促された諸点などを考慮した結果,事後評価でも「A」判定を得た.本新学術領域はとりまとめ期間として総括班で以下のような具体的な活動を行った.1.これまでに発表した原著論文,その後の引用,総説執筆依頼,国際集会での講演の依頼等を指標として研究活動の質を自己評価する.HPへの情報吸い上げ,整理,分析した.2.既存学会のシンポジウム等からの招待,国内雑誌の特集号等からの招待・依頼,後続の新学術領域研究群のなかにコンセプトや方法論の伝播・継承等は,若手研究者の中からの領域推進中の昇任・独立あるいは留学の状況はどうかなど,調査し,情報を整理した.3.学会発表レベルから論文出版に至ったものまで,本領域ならではの協同的な事例を漏れなく調査し,報告書に盛り込んだ.4.これまでのプレスリリースほか各種メディアとの接点,公開講座や研究体験などでの市民・生徒等への直接的働きかけなどを調査した.5.以上の結果を踏まえて領域の成果をとりまとめ,冊子体の成果報告書を作成し,各関係者に発送した.
