Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本総括班は、『老化時計リバイバル機構の解明 -老化研究における新たなパラダイムシフト』領域全体の総括、研究の進捗状況の確認・評価のみならず、オミクス解析技術や各計画班独自の手法などの領域内での支援および班員間の調整を行う。また、一般社会向けの公開シンポジウムや高校への出張授業、ホームページの作成・研究活動の広報・情報公開等のアウトリーチ活動を支援するととともに、成果の取りまとめや国際活動等の領域全体の企画・運営を行うことを目的としている。
本年度は、領域の立ち上げ一年目ということで、本領域の研究成果を社会に発信し理解浸透を図るために、領域の概要・研究体制・研究業績・活動報告を分かりやすく示した領域のホームページ(https://www.kazusa.or.jp/aging/index.html)を構築するとともに、ツイッター等のソーシャル・ネットワーキング・サービスも活用して、領域の班員が発表した論文について発信した。
また、領域の研究に関する方向性を確認するために、領域の班員全員が名古屋市立大学に集まり、オンサイトで予備的検討結果を中心に議論を行った。
オミクス解析技術や各計画班独自の手法などの領域内での支援に関して、オンライン、及び金沢大学におけるオンサイトで何度も議論を重ね、細胞老化過程におけるトランスクリプトーム、プロテオーム、メチローム、メタボローム、リピドーム、及びグライコーム全てのオミクスデータを取得するのに成功し、データの統合化に成功しつつある。

ホームページの作成やツイッター等のソーシャル・ネットワーキング・サービスを通じて、領域の研究成果を社会に向けて発信することができたとともに、領域全体の共同研究でマルチオミクス解析を行った結果、興味深い知見が得られたため。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

引き続き、領域全体の総括、研究の進捗状況の確認・評価を行うとともに、オミクス解析技術や各計画班独自の手法などの領域内での支援および班員間の調整を行い、領域の研究の進展に寄与していく。
