Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, by taking into account for a metal enzyme with a catalytic active site consisting of two or more base metals, which undergoes organic transformations under mild conditions, we found new organic transformations using metal clusters consisting of two or more base metals, capable of using concerted synergistic effect between metal atoms: highly difficult organic transformations such as chemically stable amide bond cleavage reactions, polymer synthesis by carbon dioxide immobilization, and environmentally friendly oxidation reactions with oxygen as the sole oxidant.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
