Outline of Annual Research Achievements

酸塩基複合化学を基盤に超分子触媒を精密設計し、その触媒活性中心近傍に所望の反応遷移状態を安定化するための反応場を構築し、高難度分子変換を制御することを研究目的として実施した。2018年度の主な成果を以下に記す。
(1)2,4-ビス(トリフルオロメチル)フェニルボロン酸がアミド脱水縮合触媒として有効であることを明らかにし報告した。この触媒の活性種は二量体無水物であることをESI-MS分析によって明らかにした。
(2)キラルアミドリン酸エステルとハロ琥珀酸イミドをそれぞれ塩基触媒、酸として用いエナンチオ選択的ヨードエーテル環化反応及びヨードアザ環化反応を報告した。ヨウ素の酸塩基二重活性化が本反応の鍵である。
(3)チオウレアを塩基触媒にin situでIClを発生させ、選択的なヨードクロロ化反応を開発し報告した。チオウレアとI2とNCSから生じる活性中間体のX線結晶構造解析に成功した。
(4)ボロン酸、キラルビナフトール由来の配位子、トリス(ペンタフルオロフェニル)ボロンの3成分からキラル超分子触媒をin situで調製し、プロパルギルアルデヒドとシクロペンタジエンとのエナンチオ選択的かつ基質選択的Diles-Alder反応を開発し報告した。超分子触媒の活性中心近傍に深い反応空間を構築し、その中でマルチ選択的に反応を制御することに初めて成功した。これはいわば基質や生成物に応じたテーラーメイド型超分子触媒の創製である。
(5)キラルビスリン酸触媒を設計し、その分子内水素結合ネットワークによって増強した酸性プロトンが活性中心となるアザ-Friedel-Crafts反応を開発し報告した。これは言わば酵素の水素結合ネットワークをモデル化した成果として注目される。
