| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本研究では、電子の電荷、スピン、核スピン、クーパペア（超伝導）をハイブリッドさせることによる量子現象、機能発現を目指している。さらに、その舞台となる材料系として、伝統的なSi, GaAs半導体に加え、InAs, InSb, さらには、カーボンナノチューブ、グラフェン、トポロジカル絶縁体物質など、電荷・スピンが最大限ハイブリッドできる舞台を創出することも並行して行っている。
本年度の主たる研究実績として、以下のことを上げることができる。１）局所イオンビームを用いて多層カーボンナノチューブの任意の位置にトンネル障壁を導入する手法の開発した。２）核スピン集団からディッケタイプの超放射が生じている可能性を示した。３）ミクロスコピックな領域での核スピン共鳴の研究を行った。４）超高品質な孤立CNTの成長技術を開発するとともに接触抵抗低減についても検討を行った。５）既設のナノカーボン合成装置を改造し、核スピン制御した炭素源ガスや平衡近傍でのプロセスを可能とする反応性種の精密導入を可能とした。６）グラフェン電界効果トランジスタに格子歪みを導入する方法を開発し、バンドギャップを生成することに初めて成功した。７）トポロジカルジョセフソン接合と強磁性トポロジカル絶縁体で特異な量子輸送現象を観測した。

初年度ということもあり、個々の研究で順調に成果が上がりつつある。一方、班内、別の班との共同研究の芽が出始めており、予備的な研究が開始されている。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
今後、個々の研究を進めるとともに、班内、他班との連携を進める。現在、進みつつある連携として、理論グループと実験グループの連携はもとより、実験グループ間の連携として始まっているカーボンナノチューブの電流分布の計測へのダイアモンドNVセンターの応用、グラフェンナノ構造の創製とその電気伝導評価、などで具体的な成果が出るように研究を進める。
