Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度は、主に以下のような成果が挙がった。
1)ナノギャップ電極を用いて単一水分子内包フラーレンのテラヘルツ(THz)分光を行い、分子の荷電状態に依存する水分子の振動モードの変化を観測するとともに、東北大と連携して単一分子のNMR測定に挑戦した。さらに、MEMS共振器を用いたTHz検出器に関して、大振幅動作によるMEMS振動モード間結合による感度の増大効果の観測を進めるとともに起源の検討を行った。
2)ダイヤモンド中のNV中心に関して、核スピンの電気的検出および量子操作を室温で初めて実証した。またn型ダイヤモンドを用い、室温でのT2の世界最長時間の実証や単一NVでの世界最高感度の実証を行った。また、アンサンブル系も含め、不純物のノイズに与える影響を明らかにした。さらに、電子スピン二重共鳴スペクトルの詳細な解析とラジオ波ドレスト状態の観測に成功するとともに、電子スピン三重項状態の全ての準位間を外部磁場を用いてパルス量子制御することに成功した。
3)円偏光レーザの実現や光スピンと電子スピンの相互作用の増強に向けて、カイラルフォトニック結晶を用いた光共振器を作製し、共振器モードが高い円偏光度を示すことを明らかにした。また、国際共同研究により3次元フォトニック結晶の反射率が示す有限サイズ効果を明らかにした。さらに、量子ドットを有するトポロジカル導波路やトポロジカル共振器などを実現し、新たなハイブリッドプラットフォームの可能性を示した。
4)量子ドット集合体では、InP系材料では困難な高反射率分布ブラッグ反射鏡の作製法を確立し、光共振器中に超高密度量子ドットを配置する構造の作製を行った。さらに、我々が開発した周波数上方変換単一光子検出器を用いることで、単一光子レベルの極微弱フォトンエコー信号をフェムト秒の時間分解能で検出することに成功した。
