Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度は、ファンデルワールス(vdW)ヘテロ構造デバイスの電子輸送シミュレーション、乱層グラフェンのモンテカルロ・シミュレーション、熱輸送モンテカルロ・シミュレーション、赤外光検出器のデバイスシミュレーションを行い、実験結果の解析などを行った。黒リン/InSe vdWヘテロ接合電界効果トランジスタの特異な電流電圧特性を明らかにした。また、乱層グラフェンのモンテカルロ・シミュレーションを行い、大阪大学の小林・根岸グループの測定結果を解析し、遮蔽効果が電子移動度・ドリフト速度に与える影響を定量的に評価した。
量子技術での応用では、特にcapacitively-shunted superconducting flux qubit(CSFQ)を用いた量子アニーリング(QA)の実装法の理論提案で成果があった。QAは、従来の手法の実装上の課題となっている量子ビット間の極めて強い相互作用の要請に対して、spin lock型のQAと呼ばれる、これまでNMR分野で議論されてきた手法を用いることを検討した。本手法では、結合定数の弱いCSFQでも高精度のQAが可能であることを数値計算により示した。CSFQはコヒーレンス時間が長いために、QAの高速化にも貢献すると考えられる。また、ハイブリッド量子系全体の振る舞いである協同現象に関する解析を進め、励起子輸送への応用を多角的に検討した。さらに、多様なハイブリッド量子系をデザインし、その特異な性質を解析した。
電子・フォトンのハイブリッド系として、量子ドットにTHz光を照射したときの光電流の基礎物性を調べた。並列2重量子ドットにおいて、磁場下でのアハラノフ・ボーム効果が光電流に現れること、このとき2端子系で電子の位相測定が可能であることを見出した。電子・フォノンのハイブリッド系として、カーボンナノチューブ上に作製される直列2重量子ドットの輸送特性を調べ、フランク・コンドン効果の観測方法を提案した。
