| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
アクチノイド化合物を中心として、遍歴多極子をキーワードに研究を進めた。強磁性超伝導については、URhGe、UCoGeの強磁場中の量子振動効果を熱電能、磁気抵抗などの物理量で観測することに成功した。この結果、リエントラント超伝導あるいは磁場強化型超伝導が現れるときに、強磁性揺らぎのみならずフェルミ面の不安定性も重要な役割を果たしていることがわかった。一軸圧力をかけた時のURhGeのspin reorientationやリエントラント超伝導の振る舞いについても実験を行い、ジグザグ構造を伴う特徴的な結晶構造とこれにともなうスピンの揺らぎが重要であることがわかった。BCS型超伝導とされるU6Coの純良単結晶育成と異常に高い上部臨界磁場の実験も行った。UPd2Al3やUBe13などの超伝導対称性についての研究や、Th化合物のフェルミ面の研究も行った。Fe系超伝導体やSr2RuO4、強磁性超伝導体、Ce115系化合物の人工超格子、U6Co、URu2Si2、U115などのNMRによる研究も行った。Pr1-2-20系やUBe13およびそのTh置換系の極低温輸送現象の実験も進展した。また、Sm化合物を中心とした1-2-20系やスクッテルダイト、BiS2系など多数の純良単結晶育成と物性測定を行った。また、超伝導を中心に、UPt3の超伝導対称性やエキゾチック超伝導、人工超格子のマヨラナモードや磁気多極子などについての理論的研究を行った。これらの研究は、フランス・グルノーブルや、ドイツ・マックスプランク研究所、その他の海外の研究所との共同研究である。

Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
当初予定していた、ウラン化合物を中心とした超伝導についての研究が大きく進展している。これらの研究には、純良単結晶が必要不可欠であるが、これらの育成にも成功し、研究グループ内外に試料提供することによって研究が広がっている。また、単なるマクロ物性測定のみならず、NMRや量子振動測定、極低温輸送現象測定など、他では真似のできない特徴ある実験を行うことにより、ユニークな成果が得られている。さらにウラン化合物のみならずBiS2系などf電子系とd電子系の研究の融合を模索する研究も行っており、今後の進展が期待できる。理論的にはエキゾチックな超伝導についての提案が行われ、実験と理論の間のフィードバックが行われるなど、グループとして研究を行うメリットが成果を出しつつある。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
強磁性超伝導体については、一軸圧力など、あらたな強磁性ゆらぎのチューニングによる新奇量子現象の探索を行うとともに、新物質探索も進めたい。NMRを中心としたミクロ物性測定をさらに進めるとともに、薄膜などで多極子が顕在化する研究も行いたい。UBe13については、Th置換系における二段転移と超伝導対称性の研究を進めたい。BiS2系については、従来の希土類元素を含んだ系だけでなく、アクチノイド元素も含んだ単結晶育成もすでに試みており、これを進展させたい。また多極子、マヨラナエッジ状態、超伝導をキーワードにした理論研究も進める。
