| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
強相関多極子を研究するための物質合成と評価を進め、以下のような知見を得た。
【超伝導体】○ハニカム構造を持つ新超伝導体BaPtAsの単結晶を育成し、構造パラメータを決定した。○J=3/2の金属状態と超伝導を調べるためにハーフホイスラー合金YPtBiおよび関連化合物の単結晶を育成した。○BiをドープしたAgSnSe2の超伝導特性を調べ、Snのバレンススキップ状態と超伝導の関係を明らかにした。○BiS2系の超伝導および熱電特性について調べた。
【1-2-20型化合物】○四極子秩序と超伝導転移を示すPrT2Zn20 (T=Ir, Rh)とPrT2Al20 (T=V, Ti)の物性を系統的にまとめた。○PrIr2Zn20の非フェルミ液体的挙動の特性温度はGa置換により上昇するが、Cd置換系では低下すること明らかにした。○Pr希薄系の非フェルミ液体的挙動が磁場により消失することを明らかにした。
【イリジウム酸化物】○J=1/2の金属状態を調べるために、Sr2IrO4に対してメカニカルアロイング法と酸素欠損制御によるキャリアドープを行い、磁気転移温度が90Kまで低下することを確認した。○ARPES測定により、ドープに伴うギャップ内状態の発達を見出した。
【理論】○CeRh2Si2等の電子構造計算とフェルミ面の解析を行い、CeRh2Si2のメタ磁性によるフェルミ面の変化を定量的に明らかにした。○d電子系PtSn4、Yb11Sb13、AuSb2、ThBi2等の電子構造計算を行ない、フェルミ面を明らかにした。○Biにおけるスピン軌道結合と構造安定性の関係を明らかにした。

Reason
研究計画は、当初実施計画に沿って推進した。J=3/2やJ=1/2の金属状態を研究するための候補物質の開発が進んでいる。D01班およびC01班のメンバーの共著による、強相関電子系における四極子の役割に関するレビュー論文が Invited Review Paper として J. Phys. Soc. Jpn. に掲載された。8月8日ー8月12日には、J-Physics若手夏の学校を開催し、若手とシニア研究者の交流を促した。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
D01班内の共同研究を通して、J=1/2およびJ=3/2フェルミオンが担う金属状態と超伝導の研究の基盤となる物質開発を進める。そのために、結晶育成や試料合成に関するノウハウを共有するための研究会などを開催して、新物質開発についてのアイデアの共有と、理論的知見に基づく物質開発を促進する。また、A01班、B01班、C01班との共同研究を進める。特にJ=5/2フェルミオンが電気伝導を担うアクチノイド化合物の知見を取り入れるために、B01班とトピカル会議を共催する。
