Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research has led to the following outcomes: 1) this improved the technology for labeling and manipulating memory trace cell populations using Arc enhancer-promoter technology. 2) This helped create of the highest performance Ca2+ sensor, XCaMP, with enhanced Ca2+ responsiveness and linearity, which has dramatically advanced in vivo multicolor Ca2+ sensing technology; 3) This has elucidation of the significance of the CaMK-CREB-Arc pathway in in vivo physiology and pathology. All of these achievements were made possible by the development of first-in-kin experimental systems established in this grant, and have contributed greatly to advancing the field of brain information dynamics.
