Research Abstract |
We explored a variety of possibilities of applying electronic corpora to the study of the Japanese language, demonstrating a number of ways we may advance our understanding of the language with the use of corpora. With a view to promoting effective uses of Japanese corpora, we published "A Handbook of Japanese Corpus Linguistics", as well as held several workshops and seminars on Japanese corpus linguistics.
