Research Abstract

海洋大気中に存在する窒素酸化物は最終的にはガス状硝酸もしくは粒子状硝酸塩となり海洋に吸収され海洋の生物生産活動におけるNの供給源として生物活性も支配すると考えられている。本研究では、主に窒素酸化物種を周辺からの人為活動の影響の少ない海洋境界層で直接観測する。具体的には主に、総NO_yやガス状硝酸・粒子状硝酸塩などNO_x由来の物質やアンモニア・アンモニウム塩等を中心とする人為活動由来物質の長期連続観測を継続することにより、経済発展が著しい東アジア地域からもたらされる含窒素化合物の海洋大気への影響を定量的に理解する。また、NO_xやアンモニアからの最終生成物であるガス状硝酸および粒子状硝酸塩・アンモニウム塩の濃度を明らかにすることにより、大気から海洋へのNの流入量を定量的に評価する。
