Research Abstract

やわらかく小さなシステムでは、kT程度の熱ゆらぎが構造変化に際して無視できないため、外力や電場、化学反応などにより非平衡状態に置かれたシステムにおけるゆらぎと構造変化に関する法則の存在が非平衡統計力学によって示唆されている。本研究は、やわらかく小さなシステムの典型である、DNA やRNA、タンパク質などの生体高分子やコロイド、脂質膜、細胞膜などの外場に対する応答を測定し、構造変化と非平衡ゆらぎの関係を明らかにすることを目的とする。
