Research Abstract

将来行われる超広域銀河探査によって得られる銀河の空間分布から、宇宙のエネルギー密度の大部分を占めているダークエネルギーに関する情報がどれだけ詳細に得られるのかを理論的に調べ、実際の観測へ向けた準備を行う。特に、すばる望遠鏡に搭載されるHSCカメラによって得られるデータを意識する。これによって、宇宙の膨張速度を赤方偏移ごとに求めることができれば、そこでの膨張を支配しているダークエネルギー自身の時間進化を決定することができるのである。
具体的には、バリオン振動と呼ばれる物理過程によって特定のスケールの構造が選択的に多く形成されるという現象や、重力レンズ効果、さらには宇宙マイクロ波背景放射の温度揺らぎに構造の進化が及ぼす影響を用いることで、宇宙の膨張速度、ひいてはダークエネルギーのエネルギー密度の時間進化の情報を得ることを目指す。現実の観測データが手に入る前に、数値実験によって理想的な銀河分布を再現し、ダークエネルギーの情報を最も効率よく引き出す手法を見つけ出すことを目指す。
