Research Abstract

自然免疫系はウイルス感染を初期に感知して抗ウイルス反応を誘導することにより生体防御に重要である。特に細胞内で増殖するウイルスを感知する二本鎖RNA受容体であるRLRはその根幹をなすものである。本研究課題ではその認識・活性化機構野解明を目的とした。
(1) RLRのノックアウトマウスを作製し、その表現型を解析した
(2) RLRのシグナルのスイッチとしての機能ドメインを解析した。
(3) 増殖しているウイルスを感知している機構を解析した。
(4) ヒトRLRの遺伝的多型を解析し、アミノ酸置換によってその活性に影響があるものを探索した。
