Research Abstract

感染症は宿主と病原体の相互作用の上に成り立つ。とりわけ、独自の代謝系を持たないウイルスの増殖には、様々な宿主因子が重要な役割を果たしていると考えられる。本研究では、様々なアプローチを用いて、マイナス鎖RNAウイルスに属する麻疹ウイルスの感染や病原性に関わる宿主因子を同定し、その作用機構を明らかにすることを目指す。それにより、ウイルスの感染や病原性を制御する方法の開発を目指す。
