Research Abstract

ユビキチン化修飾による分解制御系が、様々な生命現象に重要な働きを果たしていることが明らかになり、注目を集めてきている。中でも、この分解システムの多様性を決めるユビキチンリガーゼ(E3)の研究が盛んに行われてきており、現在までにE3本体に関してはかなり明らかになってきている。この領域の次の課題は個々のE3に対する特異的基質の同定に移ってきている。そこで本研究では、様々なE3に対する基質を酵母2ハイブリッド法やpull-down法により分離・同定し、さらにはこれら酵素・基質関係により制御される生命現象を解明すること(Degradome解析)を目的とする。
