Research Abstract	(1)最近申請者らが単細胞藻ミドリムシの副鞭毛体より同定した、青色光に応答して鞭毛運動を変化させ細胞の強光からの逃避行動をもたらす、光onのセンサーである一人三役(光センシング・信号伝達・セカンドメッセンジャーcAMP合成)のフラビン蛋白質「光活性化アデニル酸シクラーゼ」 (Photoactivated Adenylyl Cyclase; PAC) (Iseki et al. 2002: Nature 415, 1047-1051) について、光による酵素活性のスイッチング機構を解明する。そのために、発色団-アポ蛋白質相互作用および光センサー機能モジュールとアデニル酸シクラーゼ機能モジュールの分光学的および構造生物学的解析を行う。
