Research Abstract

本研究課題は、経済面・環境面での相互依存関係が進む東アジア地域で、ナショナルレベル及びローカルレベルの貧困削減や環境汚染の克服、リージョナルレベルの物質移動・循環、及びグローバルレベルの気候変動問題の連関性を念頭に置きつつ、その全ての面で持続可能な発展を実現するための環境政策と制度、地域間国際協力のおり方、及び具体的なプロジェクトを構想し、検討することを目的としている。
具体的には、東アジアの経済発展・相互依存関係の深化に伴う環境負荷の変化やそれに対する各レベルでの政策対応の変化を定量分析と比較制度分析を用いて行う。同時に中国とタイを対象として、グローバルレベルの気候変動問題への対応がナショナル及びローカルレベルの環境汚染や貧困削減を同時にもたらすプロジェクトを構想し、そこから生じる様々な便益とその帰着を評価し、実現可能性を検討する。
