Outline of Annual Research Achievements

(1a) Σ陽子散乱実験(E40)では、Σ+p散乱データの最終結果の論文をPTEPに掲載し、プレス発表や国際会議発表を通して成果を宣伝した。また、この結果を受けて将来実施するΛ陽子散乱実験のため、ビームラインに設置するファイバー飛跡検出器を製作して十分な性能を持つことを確かめた。(1b) Hダイバリオン探索実験(E42)では、収集したデータ解析が最終段階に近づき、標的周りにΛ粒子2個が放出された事象が予想通りの数だけ得られていることが分かった。(1c-1) Ξハイパー核分光実験(E70)について、アクティブ・ファイバー標的やトリガーカウンター等の検出器系を準備してK1.8ビームラインに設置し調整を行った。また、新たにK1.8ラインに構築したS-2Sスペクトロメータ系を立ち上げた。2023年6月のビームタイムで、実験装置全体を稼働させ、コミッショニング用のデータを取得し、スペクトロメータの性能について解析を進めた。(K-,K+)反応によるΞハイパー核の本番のデータ収集は、J-PARC施設の火災でビームタイムが延期になり期間内に実施できなかった。(1c-2) エマルジョン(原子核乾板)を用いたダブルハイパー核探索実験(E07)については、エマルジョンを用いたΞ原子X線探索について、目的のX線は観測できなかったが実験手法に関する論文と実験結果の論文を出版した。(1c-3) 世界初のΞ原子X線観測を目指して実施したFe原子核を標的としたΞ原子X線分光実験(E03)について、詳細なデータ解析を進めた。(2a)上記のHダイバリオン探索実験(E42)の際に同時に収集した炭素標的核での(K-,p)反応によるK中間子原子核の生成・崩壊のデータについて解析を進めた。(2b) 核内Λの磁気モーメントを少数系Λハイパー核で調べる実験(E63)について、崩壊粒子検出器を完成させてテストを行った。
