Outline of Annual Research Achievements

A01イ班ではハイエントロピー(HE)効果に基づく新材料創製と新機能創出を目的として研究を行っている。本班で推進している5つの研究テーマについて当該年度に得られた成果は下記の通りである。
(1)HE合金のナノ多孔およびナノ複合化:平均リガメントサイズ約10nm, 比表面積55.7 m2/gを具備する Ti13.5V26.0Nb12.3Mo28.8Ta14.6Ni4.8 (at.%) ナノポーラス体の作製に成功した.このポーラス体は58.3 F/gの重量比静電容量を有することを明らかにした。
(2)HE耐食合金設計:CoCrFeMnNi等モル合金においてCrとCoは耐食性を向上させることがわかった.また,Co添加による効果は純Coの電気化学特性からは予測できない.また,Mnは耐酸性と耐孔食性を共に低下させることがわかった.得られた知見に基づき, より高い耐孔食性を有するFe-20Cr-20Ni-20Co-6MoHE合金を作製した.
(3)HEセラミックスの超高圧合成:HEセラミックスとして期待できる高圧下で安定なコチュナイト型セラミックスの端成分であるコチュナイト型ジルコニアおよびハフニアを合成し,その力学特性を測定した.
(4)HEセラミックスの新規ヘテロ構造化:粉末冶金法を基本としたHEセラミックス(HEOs,HECs)の開発のために,出発原料粒子の集積化技術に関する検討を行った.複数種の粉末から構成される多元系複合顆粒を湿式顆粒法により作製する手法を確立することができた.
(5)HE合金のバルク金属ガラス化:センチメートル級のガラス形成能を有するZr基HE金属ガラスを複数見出すことに成功し,ガラス形成能に及ぼすHE効果を考察した.また,開発したHE金属ガラスの粘度測定や比熱測定を行い,HE化が各特性に及ぼす影響を明らかにした.

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.

Reason

HE合金のナノ多孔およびナノ複合化についてはHEナノポーラス体の作製に成功しており、従来材よりも大きな静電容量を達成することができている。HE耐食合金設計については各合金元素と耐食性の関係を明らかにし、それに基づいて新たな耐食合金の開発に結び付けている。HEセラミックスの超高圧合成については高圧下で安定なコチュナイト型セラミックスの端成分であるコチュナイト型ジルコニアおよびハフニアを合成しており、HEセラミックスの高圧合成手法が確立できた。HEセラミックスの新規ヘテロ構造化については粉末冶金法を基本としたHEセラミックスの開発のための出発原料粒子の集積化技術として複数種の粉末から構成される多元系複合顆粒作製する手法を確立された.HE合金のバルク金属ガラス化ではガラス形成能に及ぼすHE効果を明らかにし、ガラス形成能の高い新規HEバルク金属ガラスの開発に結び付けている。また特性に及ぼすHE効果の影響も明らかにされ始めている。
総じて5つの研究テーマにおいてHE効果を利用した新材料創製と新機能創出が計画通りに順調に進展している。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

(HE合金のナノ多孔およびナノ複合化)昨年度に作製したTi13.5V26.0Nb12.3Mo28.8Ta14.6Ni4.8 (at.%) ナノポーラス体のリガメントサイズおよび陽極酸化条件を最適化することによって,これを用いた電解コンデンサの重量比容量を向上する.更には,共連続ハイエントロピーリガメントが分散した複合材料を作製し,その特性を調査する.
(HE耐食合金設計)Fe-Cr合金の耐食性を改善することが知られているCuを添加したCoCrCuFeMoNi系ハイエントロピー合金を試作し,超過酷腐食環境下でも腐食しない超高耐食合金の開発を目指す.併せて,Alなどバルブ金属を利用し,陽極酸化により高耐食化が可能な新規合金系を探索する.
(HEセラミックスの新規ヘテロ構造化)複合顆粒を用いたハイエントロピー材料の開発に向けて,通常の電気炉加熱と並行して3Dプリンタへの展開も視野に入れたレーザ焼結による合成を検討する計画である.
(HE合金のバルク金属ガラス化)前年までに得た金属ガラスのガラス形成能に及ぼすハイエントロピー効果に関する知見を基に新しいHEBMG合金を開発する.金属-半金属系のハイエントロピーバルク金属ガラス探査にも手を広げる.またこれまでに見出したいくつかのハイエントロピーバルク金属ガラスの力学特性や粘弾性特性等の特性評価を行う.
