Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本計画研究では、水素の界面機能を極限まで高め、電子状態や構造を水素で制御する新たな革新的界面制御技術を創出する。そして、他の水素機能との融合により高次水素機能を誘起するための水素科学の学理構築を目指す。具体的には局所応力や界面構造等を制御して、局在水素によるヘテロ界面機能を強化する。領域全体で連携して、界面機能を活用した水素化物超伝導・超イオン伝導等の超機能材料の合成、新奇電子機能や力学特性等の強化を狙う。本年度、以下の点に取り組んだ。
1. A03で開発したヒドリド伝導体の薄膜を作製し、物性評価を行った。また、Y酸水素化物の光学特性と電気伝導特性について評価を進めた。
2. A01と連携し、SPring-8の高輝度X線を用いたエネルギー分散X線回折により高強度鋼のU曲げおよび張出し試験片の応力分布を求め、水素脆化によるき裂発生が高応力部に生じることを明らかにした。
3. Ir錯体を用いた水素可視化により、ひずみ分布すなわち水素トラップとなる転位密度に分布を有する張り出し試験片を用いて、電気化学的水素透過試験と水素可視化を組み合わせた水素透過量のマッピングを行った。
4. 水素プラズマを用いて、固体内や固体/固体ヘテロ界面へ水素を注入し、水素局在化による界面機能の発現メカニズム解明と応用に向けた研究に取り組んだ。

高次水素機能を誘起するための水素科学の構築を進めた。着実に成果が出ている。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

1. Y酸水素化物の光学特性と電気伝導特性について、A05-1、A05-2と共同で研究を進める。第一原理計算の結果を検討し、実験との対応を考察する。
2. 導電性ポリマーであるポリアニリン被覆による腐食環境における水素侵入抑制効果を検討する。
3. 太陽電池への応用が期待される酸化チタンと結晶シリコン、およびナノ結晶シリコンと酸化シリコンを複合化した薄膜と結晶シリコンとの ヘテロ構造へ水素プラズマ処理を行い、界面パッシベーション性能の向上を目指す。熱脱離分析や共鳴核反応法(A05班と連携)により水素の結合状態や深さ分布を調査し、局在水素機能の解明を目指す。また、水素分子の同種原子核スピンがもつ超長寿命メモリ特性の機能応用に向けた基礎検討として、A05班がもつ多光子共鳴イオン化法を用いて、結晶シリコンに表面吸着した水素分子の核スピン緩和時間の測定を進める。
