Research Abstract |
We constructed simple models and conducted experiments to analyze decision-making processes among teams and organizations. Our main findings are as follows : 1. A market experiment in China showed that increasing group size from one-person to two-person strengthened the bargaining power of subjects from coastal areas but weakened that of subjects from inland areas ; 2. Japanese multinational corporations tended to imitate actions of their competitors in the foreign market entry; 3. An online experiment of virtual stock market revealed that subjects with an intermediate amount of information about firms tended to earn lower payoffs than those less informed and those more informed ; 4. Business Games originally designed inspired undergraduates and MBA students to attend and understand classes better.
